Manage a Product

Short Description

Learn how to view, edit, delete, and manage existing products in the BuildMyStore Seller Application.

Overview

The Products section allows you to view and manage products in your store. You can search products, view product details, edit products, delete products, and control product visibility.

Desktop Application

View products

1. Log in to the Seller Web Application (web.buildmystore.io).
2. Click Catalog from the Dashboard sidebar.
3. Under Catalog, select the Products tab.
4. The Products page displays the list of all products in your store.
5. Use the available filters to find products:
   • Search by Name
   • Status
   • Category
6. Click any product from the list to open the Product Details page.
7. From the Product Details page, you can edit or delete the product.

Manage existing products

To manage a product, click the Action Menu (⋮) in the last column of the required product.

The following actions are available:

• View
• Edit
• Activate/Deactivate
• Delete

Edit a product

1. Select Edit from the Action Menu (⋮) or from the Product Details page.
2. Update the required product information.
3. Click Update Product to save the changes.

Delete a product

1. Select Delete from the Action Menu (⋮) or from the Product Details page.
2. Click Delete to confirm.

Activate or deactivate a product

• Enabled: The product is visible in the storefront and customers can purchase it.
• Disabled: The product remains in the Products list with an Inactive status and is hidden from customers.

Mobile Application

View products

1. Log in to the Seller Mobile App.
2. From the bottom navigation bar, tap Catalog.
3. On the Catalog screen, open the Products tab.
4. The Products page displays the list of all products in your store.
5. Use the available filters:
   • Search Product
   • Sort Product
   • Filter by Status
   • Filter by Selling Price
6. Tap any product to open the Product Details page.
7. You can control product visibility:
   • Enable visibility to display the product in the storefront.
   • Disable visibility to hide the product from customers.

Manage existing products

To manage a product, tap the Action Menu (⋮) for the required product.

The following actions are available:

• Preview in Store
• Edit
• Mark as Inactive
• Delete

Preview in Store

Select Preview in Store to view how the product appears in the storefront.

Edit product

1. Select Edit from the Action Menu (⋮) or from the Product Details page.
2. Update the required product information.
3. Tap Save Changes to save the changes.

Delete product

1. Select Delete from the Action Menu (⋮) or from the Product Details page.
2. Tap Delete to confirm.

Mark as inactive

• Active: The product is visible in the storefront and customers can purchase it.
• Inactive: The product remains in the Products list with an Inactive status and is hidden from customers.
